6.5.2. RPM INDICATOR

Tachometer/Rev counter (3 pin connector)

As opposed to applying the VDO tachometer, both the MMB and the Burton tachometers can simply be wired to the ignition without any need to adapt the generator or alternator.

Currently the MMB wiring harness has a three-pin connector for the tachometer. When installing the Burton tachometer, you will have to clip off this connector and replace it by three ¼ inch (6.3 mm) Faston connectors
