6.5.1. SPEEDOMETER

Both the MMB as well as the Burton speedometer are mechanical and powered via a longer than standard cable from the gearbox.

The cable is put trought a hole in the bracket witch holds the gage to the dashboard. Make sure the hole in the bracket is large enough to ensure that the cable does not seize.

Both are equipped with a lighting connection.
Make sure that the cable connect perpendicular to the gauge, otherwise it will rattle and eventually snap.

The Burton version of the speedometer also includes three warning lights: main beam (blue), oil pressure and/or brake fluid level (red) and direction indicator (green).
