Burton Car Company has been the official Lomax importer for the Netherlands since 1993. In that time, a lot of improvements have been made to the original design. Special braces, sports wheels and accessories, made by Duck Hunt (former name of Burton Car Company) are sold all over Europe. The special Göbel three-wheeler also came from the designing minds of Burton Car Company.

The Lomax is sold as a kit. Several variations are possible in 3 or 4 wheel configurations: Lomax 223/224, Lomax Lambda, Lomax Variant, Lomax Supertourer, Lomax 424 and Lomax SuperVee. Optional extra's are: dickeyseat, doors, continental bonnet, etc. The most popular models are Lomax 223/224 and Lomax Variant 4. Using a donor 2CV, some accessories and a building manual a complete Lomax can be built in about two to three hundred hours.

The total costs for building a Lomax varies between € 5.000,00 and € 10.000,00.
